John Driskell Hopkins of Zac Brown Band

New single “Each Other” out November 13, 2024

John Driskell Hopkins shares the rousing single and video “Each Other.”

This new song is a tribute to togetherness and those moments of clarity when all that truly matters is brought sharply into focus. The tender, heartwarming ballad channels Hopkins’ decades of songwriting craft and features his baritone front and center, while his trusted John Driskell Hopkins Band backs him up.

“Each Other” is the first song Hopkins recorded after being diagnosed with the fatal neuromuscular disease ALS (also known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease).

This earth-shattering diagnosis brings a taut poignancy and emotional resonance to the song. “This song is about the importance of family in our lives,” Hopkins explains, “but it also speaks to a universal audience about the importance of togetherness and mutual respect. All we truly need in this world is each other.”
